Flinders Hotel
The rugged beach environment of Flinders on the Mornington Peninsula was the inspiration behind the redevelopment and refurbishment of two bars at the local Flinders Hotel.
Our design changed the focus from the inside of the hotel to the beautiful surrounding environment. The corner edge was activated, breaking open the internal nature of the space, effectively bringing the outdoors in, whilst keeping the weather out.
The architecture, maximising the use of timber beams and glass windows, together with interiors that engage natural tones of grey and chocolate brown with accents of orange, create an inviting space that is sophisticated, welcoming and modern.
