D1
The design of D1 is a carefully considered response to a prominent corner site and a demanding internal program.
It is also the first and only six star ‘First Rate' energy rated residential building in Melbourne. Built to all boundaries, the building is articulated as a series of smaller scale, intersecting forms defined by subtle changes in plane and a rigorous use of materials and colours. The composition of these smaller elements has been designed to allow occupants a strong sense of individual identity within the building.
