Yarra
2 - 4 Yarra Street forms a key part in the regeneration of the Forrest Hill precinct of South Yarra, Melbourne, sitting adjacent to South Yarra Station with panoramic views over the CBD and Port Phillip Bay.
The building has been formed as twin towers, both clad in a clean minimal fabric skins, stretching and deflecting. Working within these towers and carving gussets between them, the facetted gold glass erodes it's way down from the rooftop to ground level on all four facades.
The activated street facade is achieved by a fold in the bluestone ground plane which draws you under the building, providing glimpses of the gold gusset connecting the entrance to the building above.
Once inside, the commitment to a high quality of interiors becomes apparent, setting new standards in high rise living.
