A restrained interior palate expresses simple bold forms using timber veneer, travertine stone and polished plasterboard.  All veneer walls express functional aluminium edging at corners, while flush skirting and stone work are seamless.  An innovative interior feature includes sliding walls that double as doors, while concealing a library.  The design has been accurately executed without compromising simple, sculptural beauty or liveability.

Sustainability initiatives include underground water tanks, solar boosted gas hot water, solar pool heating, double glazing, thermal glass and green insulation.  High-performance double glazing, together with air locks, control noise, wind and solar gain.  A minimalist, low maintenance garden to the north captures a secluded, sun filled pool experience.

Material selections reflect the salt water environment and include VM zinc, marine grade stainless steel, renders and high performance colorbond roofing, together with expressed concrete.
